Lyndon B. Johnson Used His Johnson As A Political Weapon

Written by Ryan Prost

Lyndon Baines Johnson, often referred to as LBJ, became the 36th president of the United States following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. His presidential term ended in 1969. After Johnson came Richard Nixon.

So how did this former high school teacher turned Vice President under JFK become known for the “Johnson Treatment”? It turns out Lyndon Johnson had a peculiar habit, a propensity for demonstrating his manhood to others. He often referred to it in conversation, something he was eager to do.

The “Johnson” Treatment

Based on his last name the term given to the rough and tumble aggression Johnson showed to his political rivals had a double meaning. It also could be referred to the way he was always eager to show his penis to other men as a power display. He often demanded others talking to him followed him into the bathroom where he would ask them at the urinal if they “had ever seen one so big?”.

Notice the aggressive stance Johnson is taking in the image below, giving “The Johnson Treatment” to U.S. Senator Richard Russell.

LBJ Named His Dick “Jumbo”

Lyndon Johnson loved his penis so much that he even gave it a nickname, “Jumbo”. An odd name for a body part, but even more so it was another example of his ego and the drive he had to be the bigger man, literally.
